From worried to joyful

My daughter took 2nd place in a Hunt Seat Equitation class at a horse show on 6/8/08. I'm very proud of her. I think this video is hysterical. I could see the concern on her face...and then VICTORY!

I need to take a moment, and damn...I didn't have a TWIX candy-bar (in reference to their silly TV commercial). I'm at the tale-end (the tail end) of The Orca King, II rewrites and wanted to take a step back and think about the climactic end. So, I made a book trailer for "Mooncusser Cove," which is one of my personal favorite writes.

Did I solve my TOKII dilemma? Maybe. I'm looking for a few beta readers! A crit partner!

I'm afraid I'm addicted to the omni-sexuality of Capt. Jack Harkness, the accents and the eggs cooked in 3 inches of oil. It gives me such a fright.

Princess Beatrice. Lovely girl. Nice family. Her mother rocks. But what the heck is with the adornment of butterflies on her head? Was she going to set them free after the nuptials of her cousin instead of tossing rice or birdseed?

Do you think her grandmother, the Queen, said, "Hey, babe. Nice hat." Or just gave her a sedate smile and whispered a silent prayer that Beatrice converts to the Roman Catholic faith so that she will no longer be fifth in line for the British throne?

I totally love the Royals...but that hat...oy vey.

This amuses me. I love Meatloaf. Always have. And this chick is a total babe! Holy smut...it's Tiffany! My 16 year old daughter likes the boy (Adam Cagley of Disney TV fame).

Now, on a serious note: wash your hands. Often. Five members of my family have suffered with the Norwalk Virus this week. It is the most horrific, pervasive, lingering virus I have had the displeasure of contracting. Go wash your hands. Now.
