I believe it a Thneed comes from Dr. Seuss' "The Lorax"

"The Once-ler built a small shop, where he chopped down a tree and knitted a Thneed, an odd-looking but versatile garment that he insisted "everyone needs."

A Thneed is a garment made from the truffala trees in Dr.Suess's The Lorax. To manufacture it, all the truffala trees were destroyed.

We just read that for nap! A Thneed is made from the tufts of the Truffula trees. Dr. Seuss's "The Lorax". Personally, I'm a Grinch kinda girl!

I'm being quite useful. This thing is a Thneed.
A Thneed's a Fine-Something-That-All-People-Need!
It's a shirt. It's a sock. It's a glove. It's a hat.
But it has OTHER uses. Yes, far beyond that.
You can use it for carpets. For pillows! For sheets!
Or curtains! Or covers for bicycle seats!"

It's from The Lorax by Dr. Seuss. I am a big fan of Dr. Seuss--he was a genius. :)

I myself favor the 500 hats of bartholomew cubbins or the star bellied sneetches.

A Thneed's a Fiune-Something-That-All-People-Need, it is knitted, and it appears in Dr. Seuss's The Lorax.

Hi Darragha

The Lorax by Dr. Seuss.

If you haven't read "The Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss - you should - it is awesome and for any age as well.

The Lorax by Dr. Seuss

For sh*ts and giggles

I give good readings. Norse Tarot readings. The cards are my own design. I've been doing readings as "party favors" for 35 years. I've been doing readings quite successfully on the Liquid Silver forum for quite awhile, too. When I was 13 years old I could have gone professional, but my mother, in her infinite wisdom, protected me from becoming a local media victim. She is a retired psychic minister. I grew up around this stuff! She taught me to share my gift and never to charge exorbitant amounts. I've been charging $5.00 for twenty years, or just doing that "party favor thing."

I'm going to start offering personal, full readings via email to my blog visitors. Not three-card quickies like I do on the forum.

$5.00 per question (one question per reading, please). No "life and death" questions. Remember, readings are supposed to be fun! You can pay by paypal or you can buy one of my books, forward me the receipt at darragha @ gmail. com (no spaces) and I'll accept that as payment.

If you want a three-card quickie for free, ask at the forum :)

Thank you, and I look forward to tossing the cards for you!

Darr
