I'm not entering because I already own it. I just want to say that this book is amazing. Even if you don't win this book you should definitely put it on your TBR list. It's such a good book!

Proxima Centauri (or Alpha Centauri C), a tiny Red Dwarf star some 4.22 lightyears away from us, third member of the Alpha Centauri triple system is our sun's nearest neighbour.

Proxima Centauri (Latin proximus, -a, -um: meaning 'next to' or 'nearest to')[4] is a red dwarf star that is likely a part of the Alpha Centauri star system and is the nearest star to the Sun at a distance of 4.22 light years. As the name suggests, it is located in the constellation of Centaurus.

The alluring little star next door. Dress her up with a slinky gas giant or two and she and Sol could have a rockin' good time. She's a firecracker, though (a flare star -- as are our two other nearest neighbors, Barnard's Star and Wolf 359). Let's party on one of her good days.

Our sun's nearest neighbour is Proxima Centauri, a tiny Red Dwarf star some 4.22 lightyears away from us, third member of the Alpha Centauri triple system. With only 10% of the sun's mass and 0.006% of its luminosity, Proxima is a bad candidate for harbouring life.

It is the nearest star to the Sun. It's 4.2 light years away (practically next door!) It's a red dwarf (love that show.)

Interesting (to me) bit of trivia--it will be replaced by Barnard's Star as the closest star to the Sun in about 9,000 years.

For sh*ts and giggles

I give good readings. Norse Tarot readings. The cards are my own design. I've been doing readings as "party favors" for 35 years. I've been doing readings quite successfully on the Liquid Silver forum for quite awhile, too. When I was 13 years old I could have gone professional, but my mother, in her infinite wisdom, protected me from becoming a local media victim. She is a retired psychic minister. I grew up around this stuff! She taught me to share my gift and never to charge exorbitant amounts. I've been charging $5.00 for twenty years, or just doing that "party favor thing."

I'm going to start offering personal, full readings via email to my blog visitors. Not three-card quickies like I do on the forum.

$5.00 per question (one question per reading, please). No "life and death" questions. Remember, readings are supposed to be fun! You can pay by paypal or you can buy one of my books, forward me the receipt at darragha @ gmail. com (no spaces) and I'll accept that as payment.

If you want a three-card quickie for free, ask at the forum :)

Thank you, and I look forward to tossing the cards for you!
