For sh*ts and giggles
I give good readings. Norse Tarot readings. The cards are my own design. I've been doing readings as "party favors" for 35 years. I've been doing readings quite successfully on the Liquid Silver forum for quite awhile, too. When I was 13 years old I could have gone professional, but my mother, in her infinite wisdom, protected me from becoming a local media victim. She is a retired psychic minister. I grew up around this stuff! She taught me to share my gift and never to charge exorbitant amounts. I've been charging $5.00 for twenty years, or just doing that "party favor thing."
I'm going to start offering personal, full readings via email to my blog visitors. Not three-card quickies like I do on the forum.
$5.00 per question (one question per reading, please). No "life and death" questions. Remember, readings are supposed to be fun! You can pay by paypal or you can buy one of my books, forward me the receipt at darragha @ gmail. com (no spaces) and I'll accept that as payment.
If you want a three-card quickie for free, ask at the forum :)
Thank you, and I look forward to tossing the cards for you!

Not a design I've seen before -- I like it. Colorful. Oak usually symbolizes endurance, strength, longevity; temperance in the face of adversity. The acorn usually symbolizes the potential present in even the smallest of things, and in a hex in particular, is used to symbolize the power of a hex used as a warding; even though it is itself a small thing, it holds great power within itself. The changing color of the leaves is very likely a reference to the seasons and the Wheel of the Year. I'm assuming this is painted on an oak sign or token.
I've seen this before and knew what the design was called and what it was, but I had to look up what it symbolized.
It's a hex called the mighty oak.
The oak symbolizes strength, health in body and mind, and endurance or long life.
The four oak leaf colors represent the four seasons of life -- spring, summer, fall and winter.
The scalloped border represents smooth sailing throughout life.
Pennsylvania Dutch Hex Signs
The Oak Leaf or Mighty Oak is made up of four oak leaves in bold colors radiating from the center. The Oak symbolizes strenth in body, mind and character. The four colors of the leaves symbolize the seasons of life and the wavy border in the outer ring symbolizes smooth sailing in life.
Pretty interesting!
This is what I found:
Mighty Oak -
Conveys strength, health and long life to all.
Four large oak leaves in bright, bold colors radiate from the center of this design. The oak tree symbolizes strength, health in body and mind, and endurance or long life. Four oak leaf colors are used to represent the four seasons of life -- spring, summer, fall and winter. Smooth sailing throughout life is shown by the scalloped border. This very popular design conveys strength, health and long life to all.
PA Dutch symbols
I love these things
I also like the colors and symbols in this particular one, I have not seen it before either. Considering I live near Gettysburg and I've seen a lot of them
According the ladies who done the research already the oak stands for strength and the four leaves are the four different seasons
This is a very aesthetically pleasing design. I've never seen it before, but I like the meaning.

This was tougher to search.
A cluster of Oak leaves and Acorns means strength, health and a long life like the mighty Oak. PA Dutch Hex
I used to see these hex signs all the time when I lived in PA. I like them, although I never paid that much attention to what the symbols meant.
This one is the Mighty Oak, symbolizing strength and long life, appropriately enough. The four leaves represent the four seasons.
I haven't seen this specific design before.
My mother is dutch and gave me a necklace with an acorn. The necklace was from Holland. I know about the oak and it's meaning, but does anyone know what the acorn specifically means? If the meaning is any different.
